Busselton Foreshore Coastal Erosion

1 August, 2020 By Admin

Shore Coastal has delivered more than 70 coastal projects for the City of Busselton over a period of more than 12 years. This includes:

  • Coastal Engineering: monitoring, investigation and design for sand nourishment, seawalls and groynes.
  • Construction Management: approvals, procurement, site supervision for coastal works including sand nourishment, seawalls, groynes, boat ramps, sand and wrack bypassing.
  • Maritime Planning: Strategic boat ramp planning, storm surge response planning and coastal management planning.

Spectacular failure of coastal structures can occur when the coastal environment in which we all work is not understood or respected. We remain intrigued by the coastal dynamics along Geographe Bay and the complexity of the coastal management challenges faced by the City and the Department of Transport. Shore Coastal pride ourselves in the challenge of providing practical and sustainable coastal designs that can be implemented within reasonable timeframes and budgets.
